OVEN & STOVE PROBLEMS

WILL NOT IGNITE

If an electric stove will not ignite, first check if the stove is plugged in and if all circuit breakers are on. You should check the pilot light on gas appliances. If the stove power cord is plugged in or if the pilot light is on in the oven, then another part will have to be fixed. The reason for the issue could be an surface element, infinite switch, oven igniter or bake and broil element.

OVEN DOESN’T HEAT

A burner or stove or oven with no produce heat won’t do much. An oven does not heat when there’s a broken bake element or oven sensor. Your burner won’t turn on when an element is broken or if the burner switch or terminal block don’t work. We can troubleshoot and repair these issues in under 1-2 hours after we arrive.

TIMER ISSUES

It’s safe to assume the control panel on a stove or oven is broken if the program or timer settings don’t work. In this case, we know how to repair control panels on Sears, GE, LG, Kenmore, KitchenAid and several other brands and models of stoves, ovens and ranges. We offer a warranty on all of the control boards and the manufacturer replacement parts we need for this oven repair service.

OVEN IS VERY HOT

You always want a hot oven. But not too hot! When the heat is too hot, it might be due to a broken sensor or thermostat. Our technicians can diagnose the cause of the issue and repair it. Always be careful when troubleshooting this problem for fear of skin burns from the very high and totally unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER DOESN’T LIGHT

A common stove issue is that an igniter glows but does not light. The cause is sometimes from a broken electronic control, surface igniter, safety valve or sensor. We are able to determine whether we are able to repair these parts or if we have to replace the part.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

New self-cleaning ovens sometimes experience door problems. The door won’t open after the oven is done cleaning itself. We monitor the door latch, seal and thermostat to identify why the door does not open and then we complete the necessary repair in order to fix the problem.
